Providing comfort and symptom management
Our Palliative Care team provides specialized medical care for patients with serious, chronic and life-threatening illnesses. We focus on providing relief from symptoms, pain, and stress of a serious illness - whatever the diagnosis. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for both the patients and their families.
Our care team includes a physician, nurse and social worker. It may involve spiritual counseling, psychological counseling, physical or occupational therapy, and address dietitian needs, care depending upon the patient's needs.
